No. Every step runs in your browser on your own device.
Draw the box on the Original preview. With a fixed shape such as 1:1 or 16:9, every image is cropped to that shape around the same center, and the box is sized as the same share of each image's width. With "Free", the same area, as a share of the image, is used for every image. Click another image in the list to see how it will look.
Lower the quality slider and the After preview updates with the real result and its file size. Press "Actual pixels (100%)" to compare fine detail with the original side by side.
